CardBox
CardBox is exactly what it says on the ‘tin’. It is a small ‘Button Box’ that is entirely made from Cardboard. It is not meant to be a permanent enclosure. It is temporary, but by being temporary it is extremely affordable. We made it so that people could try a button box cheaper and make a decision later on what they wanted to do long term.
Feel free to draw on it, personalise it other ways and if you want it to last a little longer, be liberal with sticky tape and school book adhesive covering. We look forward to seeing what everyone else gets up to.
We have made 3 ‘Build Lists’ for everyone to look at. They are there to help guide you on what to buy to ‘furnish’ your CardBox. We’ve also Qanba CardBox Button Pack for the more budget oriented. CLICK HERE FOR BUILD INFO
It has 4 direction button holes, 6 action button holes and 3 holes on the rear for 2 buttons and an opening for your cable. Simple, minimal but functional.
You need 11x 24mm Buttons and 1x 30mm buttons. Please see our Build Guide for more detail. We also have a video tutorial which helps you turn your Cardbox into a Button Box. CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE TUTORIAL
None of the buttons in the photo are included, they are there for demonstrative purposes only.
This is our first attempt at such a device, so we are looking forward to your feedback.
This is made of CarDboard, so if you are rough with it or get it wet/moist then it will break or collapse. Again we reiterate that this is temporary solution.
